The 2023 Denville Art in the Park show is open to visual artists ages 18 and over. Items sold must be original and handcrafted by the displaying artist. Please be aware this is considered a “fine art” show and works will be carefully considered before being allowed. Each application will be juried by the Denville Art in the Park Committee.
LOCATION
Nestled on the outskirts of downtown Denville, this picturesque area is the perfect place to enjoy art on a Fall afternoon. Considered the “hub of Morris County,” Denville offers convenient access to major highways while oozing small town charm and an escape from the every day. Just a stone’s throw from the Rockaway River, Hogan Memorial Park can be found next to the Denville Museum and their historical garden.
DISPLAY OPTIONS
Artists have 3 options to display their work:
DATES AND DEADLINES
Jun 1, 2023: Open Date
July 1, 2023: Early Bird Deadline
Sept 1, 2023: Application + Fee Deadline
Sept 17, 2023: Show Date
(setup 8am-10am, show 11am-4pm)
Sept 24, 2023: Rain Date (same times)
APPLICATION PROCESS
Artists should complete the online application process by September 1, 2023. Contact info, a description of artist and work, the jury/booth fee, and 3 jpeg images of their work plus 1 of a booth setup (if reserving a 10'x10' space) must be included.
JURY PROCESS
The 2023 Denville Art in the Park will be comprised of approximately 40 artist spaces. The jury panel is comprised of four members of the Denville Art in the Park Committee, who reserves the right to exclude any art deemed inappropriate for this show. Applicants will be notified within 2 weeks of submission.
JURY FEE
$60 non-refundable jury/booth fee is due with the application. This can be paid with a credit card, online only. An Early Bird Discount of $10 off will be available to those who apply before July 1, 2023.

RESERVE LIST
Those artists placed on a reserve list will be notified and their numerical placement indicated. Vacancies may be filled through our ability to contact the applicant via email over a reasonable time period—usually one (1) business day.
CANCELLATIONS
In the event you register and are accepted but find that you cannot be here to exhibit, please inform us immediately at info@denvilleartscouncil.org. You may not give your space to another artist.
